Our approach:
The Digital Bridges Over The Gender Gap project is an innovative, multinational initiative aimed at addressing gender inequality within the education system. Developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA220-SCH programme (project number 2024-1-PL01-KA220-SCH-000246117), this project seeks to dismantle gender stereotypes and promote inclusion and diversity by leveraging modern educational tools and methodologies.
Mission:
Our mission is to dismantle gender stereotypes and empower young women through innovative digital education, fostering inclusive learning environments and promoting equal opportunities within the education system and beyond.
Vision:
A future where gender equality is deeply ingrained in education, enabling all young people to pursue their passions and achieve their full potential, regardless of gender.
Strategy:
Digital Bridges Over the Gender Gap will achieve its mission by:
- Developing and implementing engaging, technology-driven educational resources, including an LMS with an e-learning course, VR and digital storytelling, to challenge gender biases and promote awareness of gender equality among students, teachers, and parents.
- Providing targeted training and workshops for educators and parents to equip them with the tools and knowledge necessary to counteract unconscious biases and foster inclusive learning environments.
- Establishing a transnational network to facilitate the exchange of best practices and collaborative development of resources, ensuring the project’s sustainability and scalability.
- Empowering young women through career exploration workshops, and access to role models in STEM and non-traditional fields, encouraging them to pursue diverse career paths.
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and disseminating project outcomes to inform policy and practice, contributing to long-term systemic change in educational approaches to gender equality.
